it's half past five in the morning right now here in Sangkat Srah Chok --a district in Phnom Penh and i've already been here for a day or two..
I don't know if most if you know.. but I'm going to.. for the first time.. join a project here in Phnom Penh where i'm going to be living near the Orphanage instead of a hotel and help teach english and computer skills as well as looking after children in the Orphanage..
I have NEVER ever done something like this where I'm going to be stationed to give aid.. i've volunteered for a day or two but never to actually live and wake up to help.. i'm pretty pumped .... actually really pumped.. I can't wait. Nat (my cousin) will also be doing this with me. (she got me to do in the first place.. )
unfortunately.. they will not allow any type of foreign electronic devices.. (which includes my ever so important and handy camera) i was pissed cause now i can't take any pictures =( .. I will most definately write.. (I get 2 hours online a day) if not.. im probably sleeping haha..
my day schedule looks crazy intense.. i'm going to spend 8 hours (time in between) with the kids... 1 hour for class prep.. and 5 hours of helping around with the project..
i will be here for a week.. and then i'm off to MONGOLIA (AHHHH!!!?) my phone will not work so yah.. I'm going to have to run out and fill myself with calling cards and get all the minutes i can get..
... my cousin found two videos on youtube that was related to what we are doing.. i thought it was interesting.
